Job Title:Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse
Location:Asheville, NC
Compensation:
- Minimum pay rate: $30.00 per hour - $44.50 per hour
- Sign-on and relocation bonuses will be offered on a case-by-case basis.
Certifications & Licensure:
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment, with a focus on busy units and high patient volume.
- Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may occasionally be 1:6).
- Nurse-driven and autonomous work environment with modified self-scheduling.
- Additional support provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is welcome.
Differentials:
- 2nd Shift: $4.00 per hour
- 3rd Shift: $6.00 per hour
- Weekend: $3.50 per hour
- Differentials are stackable.
- This position is eligible for an extra $5.00 per hour Float Pool premium once off orientation (8-12 weeks).
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Asheville, NC. Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment with experience in busy units and high patient volume.
- Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is a valuable asset.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
