Med Level Aide

The Residents of the Mary Ryder Home are a wonderful group of ladies looking for someone with heart to help them with medications and dietary and housekeeping duties. Our Residents are learning to do some of these things for themselves but may need a helping hand and you just might be the one. As Mary Ryder Home is licensed as an Intensive Residential Treatment Setting (IRTS), this role is integral in helping our residents to learn how to care for themselves and lead happy, healthy lives. We know you'll love it here!

If you are looking for part-time, including hours on Saturday and Sunday, this role is for you. We have day-time, night-time, and over-night shifts available. And we have a shift differential for those night-time and over-night hours!

Mary Ryder Home, part of the Provident Behavioral Health community is looking to add two Med Level Aides. As the Med Level Aide, you will work with a team of providers to ensure residents are administered medications, have healthy nutritious meals, and maintain an environment free from hazards.

A few additional essential duties:

• Notifies the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or the Resident Care Coordinator of any changes in residents' mood or behavior.
• Conducts regular safety checks on residents and document in our Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
• Responds to phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Admits and escorts guests of the Mary Ryder Home
• Completes weekly inventory of program supplies

What we need you to have:

• High school graduate or similar education

• Current and ongoing Level One Medication Aid certificate (Insulin Certified a plus)-training provided upon hire
• Current and ongoing CPR/AED/First Aid-training provided upon hire

• Applicant must be on DHSS Family Care Safety Registry to be considered

• Clear background check
