Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. The selected intern will work closely with our seasoned engineers and contribute to real-world projects, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of product development and manufacturing processes.
EDUCATION

• Enrollment in a mechanical or mechanical engineering degree producing program. Sophomore level preferred but we will make exceptions for the right individual.

ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications and cost estimates.
• Design and execute engineering experiments to create workable solutions.
• Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports.
• Complete required technical and regulatory documents.

ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
• Basic skills in critical software applications, such as ERP, Solidworks and ASME Y14.5 Drawing Standards
• Proficiency in creating parts, such as, stamping, machining, molding, 3D printing and casting.
• Knowledge in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
• Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate our core products and services
