Please note - this position will work a 4th shift, Weekend Days schedule. The schedule will be Friday thru Sunday, 3am to 3pm ET.
Summary:
This position will provide Production support on Weekends 4th Shift on the production line in the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including DEWS/QATAR, EPAWSS, 56C, and FIRETIP.
Job Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform Laser Seal, Leak Testing, Vacuum bake, Environmental Stress Screening in support of the production lines in the Microwave West Factory.
  • Support The Environmental Stress Screening Engineers on the AEWS/TACAIR Production Line, Testing and Troubleshooting of ESS Equipment to include, Burn-in Chambers, Drop Shock Equipment, Temp Cycle Chambers, Acceleration and Leak Equipment.
  • Performs Calibration, Validation on Laser Seal and ESS Equipment and Fixtures.
  • Support Engineering with debug and evaluation of Production and Systems Return hardware.
  • Develop Process improvements in all ESS Operations for the manufacturing Factory to improve quality, cost and schedule.

Full-time onsite: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
  • Must be familiar with substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and eutectic die attach.
  • Must be familiar with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings).
  • Must be familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's.
  • Must be familiar with operating an MRSI 705 and 175.
  • Must be able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
  • Can fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.
  • Must be familiar with MIL-STD-883 and working with bonding complex microwave modules.
Pursuant to a specific US government contract, selected individual must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Microwave subassemblies and knowledge of MIL STD-883.
  • Experience working with microscopes.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44000 - $70400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
