The Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Engineering is an organization responsible for defining and integrating airplane systems for airplane cabin pressurization, air conditioning, ice and rain protection, fire protection, and avionics cooling. Our mission is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for passengers, flight crew, electronics, and cargo via the most reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Our client is looking for a Mechanical System and Design Analysis Engineer to join our team in Puget Sound. This Individual will work within the company’s Commercial Airplanes , Environmental Control Systems organization to develop, produce, deliver and support customers who fly company’s airplanes. Enable high aircraft performance while operating in compliance with regulatory (FAA, EASA, etc.) requirements. We are a team that supports all company models both in development and in airline service.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the development and documentation of Environmental Control Systems (air conditioning, air distribution, cabin pressure control, equipment cooling, cargo fire protection, nitrogen generating system, ice/rain protection, etc.) design on large fixed wing aircraft.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 9+ years of ECS experience
