Salary is $60-85k/year DOE
Responsibilities:
-Identify and purchase diesel engines as required
-Identify and purchase generators as required
-Work with our dealer network to identify customer needs
-Design diesel gensets and Power units per customer requirements
-Establish pricing for generators, gensets, pumps and power units
-Participate in the evaluation and determination of the components used in the production of our gensets and power units
-Prepare user manuals and technical documents as required
-Create sales orders, work orders and purchase orders as required
-Respond to customer phone call and email inquiries quickly and accurately in a positive manner
-Generate quotes, enter orders, contact vendors, respond to customer requests, update records and track orders as necessary through the ERP system
-Attend product training and seminars if available
-Work with others to create a positive team environment
-Multitask on multiple projects at once
-Oversee application review testing of engine products, collecting necessary data and ensuring compliance with engine manufacturer performance standards
-Provide application support to internal and external customers including the documentation of critical customer application information

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Mechanical Engineering Degree or a strong Agricultural Irrigation background
-Working knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, and generators
-Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills
-Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
-Must be a team player, working together with internal and external customers, providing insight when needed and able to be flexible when goals and outcomes differ
-Ability to proactively solve problems while analyzing possible solutions
-Requires mathematical skills and a strong mechanical aptitude
-Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills
-Be willing to learn by asking questions, reading product information literature and viewing training aides. Independent learning will accelerate sales success
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
-Attention to detail
