Job Description
Manufacturing technician to assemble, inspect, test and repair a line of quality control test equipment.
Other duties include ship/rec, inspect raw and finished product, interface with vendor/customers.
Must have experience with assembly of hydraulic / pneumatic components along with electronic cabling assembly.
Must know how to use basic measuring tools, vernier, micrometer, indicators, multimeter etc.
Computer literate ms windows suite, versions of cad software
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Incoming inspection of purchased items and parts made to a drawing that require measured verification with calipers, micrometers, scales, multimeter etc.
- Coordination of second process finishing, packaging and paperwork.
- Packaging of finished product
- UPS, FedEx, DHL, Ltl freight shipments
- Assembly of product – electro–pneumatic parts
- Using equipment to make small holes in metal sheet
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Ability to read calipers, micrometers, other measuring equipment
- Ability to use small hand tools and power tools
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to daily / hourly changes
- Knowledge of MS windows suite, Cad programs
- Work well with others in small fast paced environment
Computer Skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be proficient in Solidworks & Autocad LT
Education and/or Experience
- Preferred associates degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
