As a Mechanical Foreman at Moltz Construction Inc., you will:
- Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades, and oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower
- Accountable for enforcing and promoting high-quality and safety standards
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope
- Bring problems to the attention of the Safety Manager or Human Resources
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials
- Plans and develops construction techniques and methods such as temporary structures, materials handling, crew size and deployment, equipment requirements, and task sequences
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform, extraneous physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Perform good manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination
- Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
- Must have at least basic computer and writing skills
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities in tough situations
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary- $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience
- $0.00 Premium Health Care, Vision, and Dental options are available
- 401(k) plan upon eligibility
- On the job training and rapid career advancement for those with the drive and skill set
- Guaranteed 40-hour weeks with OT as necessary
- Work available all-year-round!
