As a MechanicalEngineering Intern, you will be responsible for: Assist in design of complex parts andassemblies. Create and/or review test plans of complexmechanical systems. Support the assembling and tuning of complextest setups.
Support test plans execution. Participate in the collection of data and intheir analysis, create test reports. Participate in the review and analysis ofmechanical drawings of components and assemblies.
Support and participate in the debugging ofmechanical prototypes. This position may suit you best if you are familiar withwhat is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers: Hands on experience in running mechanical testfixtures Previous experience with the creation ofmechanical drawings Technical skills: basic knowledge of mechanicalengineering concepts and of manufacturing processes, experience with 3D CADsoftware (NX preferred) PC skills (MS Office software: Word, PowerPoint,Excel and Outlook) Required skills and education to have for the success ofthis role Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master'sdegree program, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred) Coursework in: Machine design, strength ofmaterials, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, kinematics, statistics Start Date: May 2024 At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate theirenergy and passion to a greater cause.
