SalaryFluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its operations in its local facilities.
Summary: Candidates will be collaborating with the engineering team working hands on to build prototype fiberglass boat components from the supplied technical specifications, taking the theoretical schematics and generating a functional and thoughtfully designed components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Generates prototypes to technical specifications using a variety of hand and power tools
- Works in partnership with production teams to facilitate the implementation and oversight of new processes and provides training where needed
- Collaborates with the engineering team from start to finish on all new prototype designs
- Translates CAD designs and technical schematics into fully formed and functional components
- Creates patterns from the prototypes for the production teams to use during the manufacturing process
- Problem solving and troubleshooting independently and collaboratively during the prototype design and creation process
Requirements:
- Experience in boat building is not required but strongly preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
- Ability to keep up with fast pace environments.
- Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
