As a key member of our team, the Mechanical Engineer holds a central position in leading, overseeing, and exercising influential authority in the planning, organization, control, and successful completion of engineering projects within their designated area. Direct involvement in tasks and skillful delegation to subordinate supervisors are integral aspects of this role.

As a key member of our team, the Mechanical Engineer holds a central position in leading, overseeing, and exercising influential authority in the planning, organization, control, and successful completion of engineering projects within their designated area. Direct involvement in tasks and skillful delegation to subordinate supervisors are integral aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects, with an average duration of around 18 weeks, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Demonstrate the capability to produce precise and efficient drawings, minimizing the need for rework.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to provide updates on project status, specifically addressing budgeting and timing considerations.
- Performance metrics are transparently posted on the employee's task list and in the shop for the entire team, providing visibility into project schedules.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) but open to candidates with significant machine design experience, regardless of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of machine design experience, preferably with a focus on automation/robot integration.
- Proficiency in 3D design, with a preference for Solidworks; knowledge of Solidworks macros, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in machine design.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for working with machined parts, adept problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach when necessary. Understanding of tolerances, equipment assembly, and fit-up.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate self-initiative, and operate effectively without constant direction.
- Has previous experience in project management.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and clients on project-related matters.
- Strong listening abilities, enabling the analysis of client needs and prompt response.
- Demonstrated capability in delivering high-quality designs efficiently.
- Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision, demonstrating the ability to receive tasks with little guidance while consistently completing projects on time and within budget.
