Mechanical Engineer Hvac

THIS IS A CRITICAL ROLE FOR OUR CLIENT

Responsibilities:

• Provide Engineering and design support (3D Revit) for projects that include HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Perform ductwork pressure calculations, HVAC load calculation, and pump head calculations.
• Mentor and coordinate the work of less experienced designers and engineers. Take on the responsibility of checking some or all drawings completed on the project.
• Possible client contact and business development activities.
• Will meet with clients to define project scope, project progress reports, etc.
• Review specifications and assist in or prepare total cost estimates.
• Design work on REVIT.
• Develops engineering concepts and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college program, that qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
• PE with five 5+ years of related recent experience
• Experience with sizing HVAC equipment, duct and ancillary equipment, utility piping systems, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge and experience using Autocad and Microstation preferred.
• Pharmaceutical projects is highly preferred. Experience with Manufacturing, Automotive, and Commercial is a plus.
• Travel required.
• Valid driver's license required.
