Mechanical Designer

Looking to add an experienced Mechanical Designer with Machine Design experience to the group. Strong candidates should have a Machine Design background as well as be capable with AutoDesk Inventor.
Requirements:

• 3-5+ Years professional Design experience
• Strong CAD Design skills
• Experience with Autocad and AutoDesk/Inventor including 2-D drafting and 3-D modeling. Solidworks or other 3D CAD packages will be considered as well.
• Experience with Industrial / Production / Packaging Machinery including Structural Machine Frames, Kinematics, Precision Mechanisms, and Mechanical parts

Preferred Skills:

• Strong mechanical inclination and an interest in a hands-on type of position
• Knowledge of Machine Controls (PLC, Servo, HMI, etc)
• Prior experience working with vendors to source/procure parts.
• Prior experience working with shop personnel and lead the initial build operations to assemble the machine
• Prior experience support startup, testing, installation, and commissioning
