Malone Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Mechanical Conversion Technician in the Louisville east end area.

Mechanical Conversion Technician Highlights:

• The Mechanical Conversion Technician will help convert trucks to All Wheel Drive. The right person for this job will have high mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with a variety of tools. 
• Pay: $21.00 an hour
• Schedule: 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday
• Benefits: Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and 401k/retirement plan after hire.

Mechanical Conversion Technician Job Description:

• Installation of steps, headlights, wheels, drive lines
• Welding
• Use hand tools and power tools including: impact gun and plasma cutting torch

Mechanical Conversion Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Advanced mechanical skills
• Ability to perform 100% of available assembly work
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
• Must be able to lift at up to 50 lbs. without assistance
