- Operates with normal supervision
- Works with fragile materials to produce a range of miniature to large detailed piece parts and assemblies
- Performs repetitive advanced assembly operations with extremely close tolerances and fine details that require coordination and dexterity.
- Skilled in semi-automated printing and assembly equipment set up/ operation, small furnace set/up operation and set-up and advanced tooling set-up/operation to maximize productivity and quality.
- Interpret engineering drawings (dimensions, tolerances and special manufacturing conditions) and written detailed production processes.
- Responsible for checking quality output during assembly
- Capable of using all type of measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier caliper, dial indicator).
- Capable of working with microscope for production and inspection of components and assemblies
- Responsible for keeping a clean work area
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands: - Occasionally carries/lifts small quantities of materials (total weight approx. up to 40 pounds).
Working Conditions: - Standard manufacturing environment.
