Mechanical Assembler

Perform processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools and pneumatic tooling to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications.

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

• Must be able to operate hand tools and pneumatic tooling such as screw drivers, utility knives, screw guns and drills to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub- assemblies.

• Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection of component parts prior to assembly using basic measuring tools.

• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

• Must be able to cut insulation and use chemicals, adhesives, paints and inks.

• Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

• Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

• Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally

  and in writing. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Minimum 10th grade

• Minimum one year related factory experience
