TITLE: Mechanical Assembler
TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite
SHIFT: 1st Shift, M-F
Responsible for assembling a variety of finished products utilizing written process procedures, blueprints, schematics, and job experience.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble standard and modified cabinets utilizing written procedures, BOMs, blueprints, and basic hand/power tools.
• Able to understand and read engineering drawings and modifications.
• Primarily mechanical assembly, some electrical connections as needed.
• Working knowledge of mechanical tools used in the assembly process.
• Inspects and tests completed products or sub-assemblies.
• Aid machine operators as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a high school education.
• 3+ years of prior mechanical assembly experience in a similar setting.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to use measuring tools.
• Forklift operation experience is ideal but not required.
