Mechanic Ii - Full Time, 2Nd Shift

Overview

Inspect, report malfunctions, and make repairs to HVAC equipment and related systems; maintain electrical power for lighting and equipment, detect malfunctions, and perform electrical repair and installation; make repairs to equipment and physical facilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

 

General cleaning of equipment, spaces, buildings, and grounds.

Timely completion of work orders, PM's and other records.

Proficient in building component installation, maintenance and repair.

Accept and complete additional duties as assigned.

Respond to fire and other emergencies.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience RequiredEducation/Licensure: High school graduate or GED required, two years trade school, college or equivalent preferred; some licensing or certification preferred . Experience: three years experience or comparable combination of education and experience in maintenance preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of safety codes; ability to communicate effectively; ability to use hand and power tools; ability to maintain records; must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a safe driving record
