Mechanic Ii - Bedford (Ft/Days)

The Mechanic II is a senior level technician who performs as part of a multi-crafted team providing a high degree of technical expertise to the maintenance operation for repairs troubleshooting installation and preventive maintenance of utility equipment and building systems. Maintains all Maintenance Department records and logs oversees preventive maintenance schedules and performs general maintenance work to include preventive maintenance and machinery/equipment/building maintenance according to specifications manuals and/or policies-procedures. The Mechanic II is able to independently complete major repairs and work orders and coordinate various aspects of major work orders including material selection procurement scheduling repair and documentation. The Mechanic II provides leadership in coordinating engineering activities throughout the organization and displays effective communication skills with various departments and staff at all levels of Centra.
