About Us: MP Management, a division of Reyes Hall Inc. is a farm labor contractor providing services to Mahi Pono LLC. We are seeking individuals to join our team as Mechanic Helpers.
Position Overview: As a Mechanic Helper at MP Management, you will be an integral part of our maintenance team, assisting in various tasks related to the repair and upkeep of farm machinery. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a passion for mechanics and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in farm equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop area.
- Support the team in organizing and managing spare parts inventory.
- Learn and develop mechanical skills through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines in all activities.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in developing mechanical skills.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with the maintenance team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work on a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
