Job Summary – Meat Wrapper
- Weigh, wrap and price meats and related products
- Portion and place products on designated trays with the highest standards of presentation
- Display product in cases as directed by manager
- Keep track of the need for wrapping materials, labels, etc.
- Maintain equipment. Communicate temperature failure of cases to manager.
- Maintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areas.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers
- Follow all company policies
- Observe all state health regulations and all safe food handling procedures
Job Requirements:
- Minimal computer skills or minimal knowledge of computerized digital scales.
Physical Demands:
- Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
- Work in cool area for extended periods of time.
- Lift, push or pull cases/containers of product up to 50 pounds.
This is a part-time position.
