Join the team at Curtze Foodservice's Specialty Steak Service, a premier USDA Inspected Facility, as a full-time Meat Trimmer & Cutter. We're looking for dedicated individuals with excellent knife skills or experience in meat processing.

Shift Options:*
Second Shift (Full-time): Sunday through Thursday, 3:30 P.M. to 12:00 A.M.
Second Shift (Part-time): Sunday through Thursday, flexible schedule.
First Shift (Part-time): Monday through Friday, flexible schedule.

Wage:* $18 - $24, Based on skill level

\*\*\* This position requires bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above, reaching across, using repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily. The Packer Trimmer will be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures from cold 20-40° F, damp/wet, to freezing temperatures. In addition, this position requires the use of sharp cutting tools. \*\*\*

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all relevant USDA standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Expertly trim, cut, process, label, and quality control of meat and meat products.
• Operate various equipment including knives, saws, and cubers with precision.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleaning, and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Conduct daily machinery inspections and follow safety protocols.
• Report any accidents involving employees or company property and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Solid understanding of various meat cuts and processing techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in meat cutting or related field.
• Exceptional math skills and ability to handle sharp cutting tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in cold temperatures, and perform heavy lifting.
