Meat Manager - $3,000 Sign On Bonus!!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the meat department, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and packaging of meat products according to established standards.
- Train and supervise meat department staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and rotation of products.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products in order to provide innovative offerings to customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment, preferably in a meat department or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient knife skills for cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Culinary or food industry certification is a plus.

Pay: $21.25 - $32.55 per hour
