Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the meat department, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving
- Ensure that all meat products are properly stored, handled, and rotated to maintain freshness and quality
- Supervise and train meat department staff on proper food handling, preparation, and customer service
- Monitor and maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have
- Prepare specialty cuts of meat according to customer requests
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in Meat cutting and Managment
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food preparation methods
- Proficient in using knives and other meat processing tools
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
