Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and package meat products according to company standards and customer specifications
- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment and machinery
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of orders
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques, including portion control and meat preparation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
