Responsibilities:
- Package and prepare various cuts of meat for sale or use in food production
- Use proper knife techniques to carve, trim, and portion meat
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of meat products
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in meat cutting or a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses
- Strong knife skills and the ability to handle sharp objects safely
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
