Meat Clerk

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Carver to join our team. As a Meat Carver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and carving various meats for our customers. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong time management skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Duties:
- Carve and slice different types of meats, such as beef, pork, and poultry
- Ensure that all meat is carved to the desired thickness and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the carving area
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including seasoning and marinating meats
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with menu selections
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Use Aloha POS system to process orders and track inventory
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and carving techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service delivery

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
