Measure Technician Fairfield, Nj

What are we looking for

At Stone Systems (www.stone-systems.com/) we are looking for a Measure Technician for our Shop located in Fairfield, NJ. who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do

• Provide accurate digital templates as well as the best service and communication with our customers during the measurement process.
• Travel to the client's location, capture the required data and measurements from each job with our software, and submit all documentation promptly. Measure jobs scheduled daily and accurately to ensure templates are sent promptly to the shop.
• Must complete work orders by making notations for all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts plus radiuses in the tops, and any other necessary specification desired by the customer for the job.
• Responsible to set expectations and educate our customers with industry and service provider guidelines.
• Responsible for meeting/exceeding performance standards related to the timely measure, uploading all measure files and photos immediately to company CRM.
• Communicate in a professional demeanor with customers over the phone and in person, to provide critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation process and in turn receive the great voice of customer scores.
• Communicate offered purchasable upgrades to ensure the best product is delivered to the customer.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager, and Installation Manager on topics relevant to the job, work, load, and service as needed.
• Understand and follow all job site safety rules and regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Required

• 3 years of relevant experience working with home center measures.
• 1 year experience working with 2D laser templating and DXF files.

EDUCATION
Required

• High School Diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGE
Required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of stone products and differences between natural stone and engineered stone when applied.

SKILLS
Required

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers.
• Ability to travel/drive locally 100% of the time for long distances between projects throughout designated areas.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds).
