MDS Assistant/Restorative Nurse- LTC

*Salary: Up to $120K per year (depending on experience)*

Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a Restorative Nurse
• Must have Restorative certification in the state of Illinois
• Must have skilled nursing experience
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Must know MDS 3.0
• Must have experience with MDS
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess residents to determine type of treatment and schedule therapy.
• Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on medical and social history of residents.
• Evaluate type of therapy most desirable after consulting with the physician and therapy personnel.
• Works with nurses in developing a restorative plan of care.
• Consults with nurses in making recommendations for a restorative plan of care.
• Reports progress of restorative nursing measures.
