JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures the MDM Engineer will act as the subject matter expert for our enterprise MDM environment. This position is responsible for developing configuration policies, provisioning and maintenance of all endpoints. The position will also be responsible for maintaining the health and functioning of the MDM platform and will be the point person for complex technical issues with stakeholders such as end users, operators, service desk, and third-party support providers. Incumbent will be responsible for devices critical for GBMC workflow and clinical care. Must be able to participate in after hours on-call rotation.
EducationBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Experience
5-10 years progressive related work experience with software applications within a Healthcare setting
5+ years of MDM or EMM administration experience, such as Airwatch and Mobile Iron
Skills
- Experience configuring and supporting MDM for a medium or large-sized organization
- Experience with MDM patch management, maintaining / updating applications and OS
- Experience with MDM automation scripting
- Expertise in troubleshooting technical problems with a focus on rapid resolution
- The ability to manage multiple simultaneous and diverse technology issues to resolution, with minimal supervision and a sense of urgency
- Ability to self-prioritize and manage multiple workloads
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions
- Working conditions are that of a normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, and unfavorable temperatures. Includes on-call responsibility for Systems support.
