"MBD Engineer (Energy Management)"

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Background: Mechanical engineering (HVAC/Energy conversion systems) . Highly Knowledgeable in Thermal Engineering/Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer/Fluid Mechanics)
• Modeling Experience on Tools:
• Modelling Predictive Control and optimization of building energy systems using data-driven and machine learning techniques
• HVAC energy modeling Software such as EnergyPlus, Openstudio, TRNSYS or eQUEST
• Understanding on: Building automation systems (BAS) and controls programming, renewable energy technologies such as solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbines
• Knowledge Area: Energy storage technologies such as batteries or thermal storage, HVAC system components such as chillers, boilers, pumps, and fans.
• Familiarity on Standards : Building energy codes and standards such as ASHRAE 90.1, LEED or Passive House
