Mazda Volvo Service Lube Rack Technician

Royal South Mazda Volvo is seeking a Lube Rack Tech to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. The position is a flexible part-time to full-time hourly position, responsible for executing light preventive & scheduled maintenance services on customer vehicles. We will train the ideal candidate who is looking to start a career in the automotive field. You will be assisting in our service shop as well as assisting our service representatives. The ideal candidate excels at customer service, pays extra attention to detail and knows how to service vehicles accurately and effectively once trained. Our business traffic could benefit from another team member who can help us deliver the best customer experience while servicing their vehicle.

Responsibilities & Possible Duties
-Perform lube, oil and filter services on customer vehicles using manufacturer appropriate practices and process.
-Perform tire services including tire rotation, repair, & tire balancing.
-Perform minor vehicle maintenance services, such as air and cabin filter replacement.
-Test and inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or repairs needed.
-Performs repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer, dealership and governmental standards.
-Communicate clearly & respectfully with customers and fellow team members.
-Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
-Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance
-Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-Must have basic hand tools
-Ability to lift, carry and move up to 30 lbs
-Ability to use computer to access repair information
