Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher for second semester for up to 12 weeks. Salary is determined using the Faculty Salary Scale, based on education level and years of experience (scale ranges from BA, Tier 1: $43,505 to MA45, Tier 30: $97,064). We give 1:1 credit for the first 10 years of teaching experience and then 1:2 for additional years. The position will be eligible for benefits after the waiting period.
Expectations Include:
- Ability to teach Algebra, Pre-calculus and Calculus
- A bachelor's degree in the subject area (MA preferred)
- A Colorado teaching license, comparable certification, or working toward alternative licensure
- Teaching 5 out of 7 class periods per two day cycle (Block Scheduling)
- Commitment to the life of the school outside the classroom through coaching, advising, and moderating extra-curricular programs
- Attending assemblies, prayer services, masses, service opportunities
- Modeling Christian values and contributing to forming student values
