Daniel J Bakie Elementary School seeks a motivated, certified elementary education teacher to work with classrooms and small groups to provide intervention to students identified as needing additional support in developing math skills. The Math Intervention Teacher helps to assess student progress, compile and analyze student data, prepare lessons based on the data and student needs, and provide direct instruction to small groups and individuals. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, be familiar with using data to drive instructional decisions, confident in the teaching of math strategies for foundational math skills, and able to provide guidance and strategies to the paraeducator on the Math Intervention team. Candidates would ideally be available to start January 2, 2024 in this full-time position.
