We are currently seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Maternity Leave substitute - Hebrew speaking teacher for elementary aged students. Full time for the period of end of April through mid June with an opportunity for an extended position based on the school needs.

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree education or a related field

Knowledge of Hebrew at native level.

Ability to create interactive lessons about holidays and Jewish values

Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor

Well-developed, effective classroom management skills

Strong organization skills

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

Works well in a collaborative model with other administrators, teachers and parents

Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families

Reports to: Director of Hebrew Department
