We are an established Tier One Automotive Supplier that has been in business for over 70 years. We are a leading producer of sunroofs and fuel tanks with a worldwide reach but a smaller local feel in our Carrollton, GA facility.
Job Details/Duties
As a Materials/Purchasing Coordinator, you will get to work with and lead a highly skilled team to ensure all customer demands are acknowledged, processed, and met in a timely and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for managing the materials and inventory planning functions, and providing support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production targets and customer expectations.
You'll get to work with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipment deadlines.
Your team of Material Handlers, Office Staff, and Team Leads will work with you and at your direction to ensure goals are met and budgets are adhered to.
Qualifications
- Preferred 2 years' management level experience in Materials, Purchasing, or very closely related role
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred, but NOT required
- Must have English language skills and be capable of reading and interpreting documents and speaking effectively to customers and employees
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
