Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Non-Destructive testing both in-lab and in-field using standard methods such as MT & PT.
- Perform destructive testing for various metals under the guidance of the Materials Testing Laboratory Manager.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials.
- Perform raw data entry and analysis.
- Capture incoming photos of samples.
- Conduct first-level preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment used for testing.
- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 standards and upholding quality excellence.
- Engage in self-study and prepare for certification exams.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience:
- Associates in an Engineering/Technical field (preferred).
- Experience in Materials Testing/Nondestructive Testing (preferred).
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience (preferred).
- Engineering Technician experience (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comfortable working in an engineering-driven environment.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and form generation.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Quality experience or engineering experience is a plus!
