TheMaterials Handler/Inventory Control Supervisor will analyze and improve processes to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining controlled inventory levels utilizing MRP systems and continuous improvement methods. Responsible for maintaining and improve cycle counting processes as well as maintaining overall inventory. Work with Suppliers and Sourcing on the expansion of Continuous Improvement through the development of new processes.Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and New Product Development the pilot runs at Tomah.Identify and control the disposition of obsolete inventory

What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Support supplier value added programs such as kitting, vendor managed inventory to support manufacturing, warehousing, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the incoming parts with material planners, engineering, and sourcing for pilots at the Tomah plant.
- Work with material planners to develop proper lot sizing based upon material and supplier location data.
- Reviews and adjust order policies and ABC values and safety stock to control planning parameters.
- Monitors incoming shipments for early/over; late/under to be addressed with supplier/sourcing.
- Support supplier reduction and consolidation working with the Toro Sourcing department.
- Support SAP system improvements as needed.
- Support, Coordinate and mitigate SAP system issues
- Train, Support, and aid in SAP training, user access and other daily SAP tasks.
- Develop and support system changes to enhance the delivery of incoming material.
- Provide analysis of Planning Department metrics Coordinate inventory system improvements with SAP team.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
What Do You Need?

- Bachelor’s degree required and 2-4 years’ experience in production and material planning, and material & inventory control. Extensive knowledge of current and industry standard cycle count practices, policies, and procedures.
- All of qualifications above plus 5+ years’ experience in usage development and deployment of PC and Toro software systems (TADA, ClickView, Windchill) . Coupled with extensive knowledge of other dependent software systems used throughout the manufacturing and material planning process.
