Materials Specialist

Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Materials Specialist.

Location: Layton Main and a split between Layton Main and Parkway

Hours: FT

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all incoming and occasional outgoing packages.
• Inspection of all packages for damage.
• Maintain a detailed delivery log of all incoming packages and identifying all packages that require refrigeration.
• Deliver packages throughout the clinic using a cart or hand truck.
• Responsible to keep the receiving area clean and organized.
• Will assist Purchasing and Central Supply departments with inventory of supplies and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push and pull large carts.
• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Job will require standing, walking and climbing stairs throughout the day.
• Experience in purchasing is desired
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
