  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Receive and distribute all incoming shipments to appropriate departments.
    • Ensure that all departments have adequate supply levels daily.
    • Fill and distribute supply requests.
    • Ensure that all areas are stocked with appropriate supply levels.
    • Distribute incoming warehouse stock to its assigned warehouse storage space.
    • Assist with all consignment, inventory, and cycle counts.

    • This position may frequently be exposed to infectious material. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Working knowledge of medical terminology

Experience in Materials Management preferred

Computer experience required, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Demonstrates ability to stand for long periods, overhead and low reaching, and to exert force up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Occupational Exposure

Category II exposure to bloodborne pathogens, frequent exposure to chemical hazards and may encounter radiation hazards.
