Collins Aerospace is seeking hire a Materials Associate IIto perform a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting and shipping & receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

• Position works 2nd Shift (2:30PM – 1:00AM, Monday – Thursday) onsite at our Haltom City, TX location.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives, checks, stores, kits, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.

• Expedite the program and facility materials.

• Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (not to include hoists, electric heavy-lift equipment, forklifts, box trucks or high bay vehicles) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.

• Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.

• Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.

• Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.

• Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment, records calibration logs of tools and equipment.

• Performs operator preventative maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance.

• Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations.

• Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.

• Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.

• Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.

• Performs related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

• Will be asked to lift boxes and other equipment up to 25 lbs.

• Will work under moderate supervision and complete additional tasks as assigned

• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

• Requires minimum 1-year of experience in both warehousing or logistics related activities and in the operation of warehouse material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, box trucks, heavy-lift equipment and hoists, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to work with MS Windows.

• Able to perform basic Math calculations.

• Knowledge of SAP systems

• Using RF Scanner
