Adecco is hiring Material Handler/Forklift drivers for our customer in Auburn Hills, MI. Main responsibilities in these roles will be to coordinate shipment of materials to various carriers. If the below information interests you, please apply!
Key Responsibilities:
· Shipment of material, checking for damage, verify quantities are correct.
· Handle all customer required documentation for shipment
· Pull and package material for shipment
· Perform receiving/packing activities
· Learn & maintain knowledge of US Customs regulations
· Operate equipment including fork-trucks, hoists, pallet-jacks, cranes and carts
· Utilize software packages including SAP and Microsoft office,
· Knowledge of Ford K1/K2 Ford shipping requirements for packaging up shipments.
Qualifications:
· Strong working knowledge and experience in logistics and inventory compliance
· Great communication skills and ability to multi-task
· Ability to pass a Forklift evaluation
· Valid Driver's License
What is in it for you?
· Pay: $ 22
· 1st shift hours, 7 - 3:30 pm/ 8:30 - 5:30 pm
· Long term contract, possible perm
· Weekly pay. Benefits are available to you as a contractor after one week of employment.
