Responsibilities
Responsible for shipping, receiving and delivering goods to and from the warehouse. Assists Purchasing Manager to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner. May be responsible for providing and assisting with clerical support, data entry and assists buyers with inventory replenishment by placing Purchase Orders as needed.
Essential job functions:
- Purchasing / Receiving Dock Supervision: Maintains the purchasing / receiving dock in a clean and safe state for all who enter. Receives / verifies product received against PO’s / pack slips to assure accurate / undamaged items are received. Completes receiving daily – following the SOP’s for Central Purchasing inventory., fulfills stock requests, inventory adjustments and intercompany transfers. Provides verbal / written support to colleagues, guests and homeowners as well as vendors and delivery personnel.
- Shipping: Packs and processes shipments through shipping software
- Order Staging / Shipping / Deliveries: Pulls Stock requests / verifies pulls and stages orders for pick up. Organizes stock / non-stock orders by department and alerts department when orders are ready for pick up. Pulls orders / verifies contents of all shipments of outgoing packages from Canyon Ranch; including webstore, guest and home owner packages, vendor returns and departmental mail orders. Delivers items as determined by Purchasing Manager.
- Restocking: Restocks shelves according to assigned stock locations.
- Inventory & Administrative: Maintains inventory and Maintains accurate / organized filing of all department paperwork including purchase orders, item receipts and invoices. Answers phones, and provides clerical support as needed for the department.
- Completes off property runs as needed
Shift: Typically works first shift or a daytime schedule.
Compensation $17.50 per hour
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Motor vehicle record meets Group B Canyon Ranch criteria.
- Work is extremely strenuous in nature.
- Forklift Operating Experience a plus or willingness to become certified
- Ability to easily learn and use proprietary software
- Math Proficiency
- Great written / verbal skills
- Knowledge of MS Programs including e-mail, NetSuite and Excel
- Basic Budget Management Skills
1-2 years of experience (Preferred)
