What you will do: The Material Handler II administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
- Work with the Inventory Team to perform daily cycle counts.
- Help put away inventory into the proper inventory bins.
- Perform the necessary computer transactions within the ERP system to receive the product in the system. Notify the purchasing and quality departments when there are discrepancies during the receiving process. Process Receiving Reports within ERP system
- Unpack Instrument Trays and Implant Kits
- Help pick/pack/ship Domestic and International sales orders while using a barcode scanner. Package product to meet shipping criteria, adhere to temperature controls where applicable and assure correct items are boxed for the customer order
- Process product at FedEx terminal and prepare accurate shipping label
- Scrap product as needed
- Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Assist RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) area
- Assist in all areas of the kitting function & Distribution.
- Assist with new kit build activities and assist the order replenishment team when needed
- Ability to train employees on processes and procedures with the Returns Area.
- Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements
What you need:
- High School or GED preferred
- Manufacturing Experience or 1 year of related work experience preferred
- Ability to operate common material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, scales, label maker, PC, etc.).
- Ability to operate handheld scanning devices and perform data entry on computer applications.
