This position requires the ability to operate forklifts and loaders. Must be willing to work outside in all weather, around customers, and be able to lift heavy objects. A willingness to work hard and a positive attitude will ensure success in this position!
Education and Experience
High school Diploma or equivalent
Experience running loaders & forklifts
Valid driver’s license
Job Responsibilities include:
Loading and unloading goods from flatbed trailers into correct storage bays or specific areas.
Loading mulch/stone and other products into customers' personal vehicles.
Performing daily equipment checks.
Assist in the picking and packing of inventory for timely shipment.
Assist with regular safety compliance reviews against policies and procedures.
Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process
Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
Physical/Mental/Visual Demands:
Work is heavy in nature. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
Forklift operation requires the ability to hear warehouse activity.
Must be able to read at a distance, close to the eyes, and at arm’s length with or without correction. Forklift operation requires distance vision.
Correctly identify and record product information.
Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside.
Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and working in high places. Sensenigs provides PPE to ensure employee safety.
Must be able to work Saturdays April – August, 6 days/week.
