Material Hand Spec Anlin

A Material Handler is a person who works in a warehouse or production facility and is responsible for moving, storing, and managing various materials. A Material Handler may use various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, cranes, and hand trucks to perform their duties. A Material Handler may also perform tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, picking, and packing orders, sorting, and labeling materials, and maintaining storage locations.

• Loading and unloading packages from trucks or other vehicles
• Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications
• Operating different types of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage production requests effectively.
• Proactive and efficient.
• Proficient in verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Capable of identifying and locating the right products during the picking process.
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments to replenish material for production lines.
• Ensuring the safety and quality of the materials and the work environment.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• 2+ years of Material Handling experience.
• Certification in forklift operation.
• Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery.
• Being able to lift weights from 60 to 100 pounds.
• Valid and up-to-date OSHA forklift operation certificate.
