CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Independently expedite and facilitate the flow of materials to and from the various suppliers to the job site.
They make sure that the right materials arrive at the site at the right time. Ensures the right materials arrive at the site at the right time.
Works and deals with the vendors directly to make sure accurate and on time delivery of goods to the appropriate locations.
Expedite activities or purchase items at various vendors to meet the project’s schedule.
Track orders and updates reports
Record and maintain milestones
Represents expediting at project team meetings
Contacts suppliers to obtain timely submission of engineering data, and to follow up on materials acquisition, production progress and shipment.
Coordinates with planning and schedule, field Material Coordinators or jobsite project expeditors and construction to establish priorities, sequences and required delivery dates and instructs suppliers accordingly.
Should have a minimum 1 year in project execution experience or related field with a minimum of 1 year in material management.
