Matanuska Experiment Farm & Extension Center Temp Technician

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Good organizational skills. Ability to pay attention to detail, follow directions, work well independently and with others. Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly, courteously, and tactfully with the public. Perform moderately strenuous physical activities such as lifting up to 50#, repetitive motions, bending over, and in inclement weather. Must be able to prioritize and multitask. Knowledge of farm research plot layout and data collection is a plus. Typical Experience:Required Education or Training:

Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary position. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 74, based on education and experience. Full-time work is also an option for ~6-months.
