Job Description
As a Master Tech, you will be responsible that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently while maintaining a consistent high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
- Ensures and understands compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedure.
- Make sure to maintain Toyota Certification training.
- Ensures repairs are storied out correctly.
- Checks and reports progress of each repair order that you are working on throughout the day.
- Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Road tests vehicles to quality-check work performed.
- Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing and assist warranty administrator with any additional needs from Toyota for claims.
- Keep your area clean, safe, and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager or dealer.
- Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.
- Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years plus experience in a Toyota/Lexus dealership as technician
- Master Toyota Certified
- Toyota Expert Certified in the following:
- Engine,
- Drivetrain
- Chassis
- Electrical
- Hybrid
- Toyota Expert Certified in the following:
- Will need to provide Transcript from the University of Toyota.
Compensation is $32.00 FRH plus bonus up to $35 FRH.
