Summary
Under limited direction of the PC&L Manager &/or Plant Manager, manages customer requirement and prepares production schedules to support plant production processes and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure the interface between customer needs and the production activities
· Prepare the monthly SOP (Sales & Operations Planning ), to obtain a levelling of volumes and to optimise the resources (men, machines, materials and the capacity readiness of suppliers)
· Implement and drive the weekly MPS (Master Production Scheduling) to ensure a levelled Production Plan and protect production lines from customer demand variations
· Monitor customer requirements during SOP and EOP to minimize cost to the plant
· In case of a major variation of demand lead colleagues to produce a recovery plan
· Check that procurement is in line with the MPS
· Manage inventory and safety stock levels
· Check that Levelling Board is consistent with the PDP
· Responsible for SOP, SF&FG parameters and carrying out tasks in a timely manner in the Staging process
Education / Experience
· Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required, or equivalent work experience
· Bachelor’s degree in materials, logistics or management preferred
· APICS certificate desirable
· Must have at least two years of experience in materials, shipping, production control, or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Language Ability
· Ability to read and interpret instructions and procedure manuals
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees

Pay: $52,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
